CRAIG WALKER is Vice President of IFS Securities, Inc. Mr. Walker brings over 25 years of investment banking experience structuring transactions for municipal and corporate clients. He has structured and closed various financing types including: lease revenue bonds, asset backed securitizations, renewable energy financings, tax increment financings, mezzanine financings, real estate, and innovative financing structures isolating revenue streams. Since joining IFS in October 2012 to launch the public/corporate finance department within the firm he has served as lead banker on 4 transactions as sole/senior manager totaling over $25 million. These include a $10,600,000 City of Compton CA transaction which had an innovative credit structure created by Mr. Walker that was a key component in getting the transaction completed. In addition under Mr. Walker’s leadership IFS has served as distribution underwriter on 34 transactions totaling $15 billion in par value in which the firm generated over $50 million in sales of municipal bonds. As lead banker Mr. Walker has worked on various structures which include general obligation, enterprise fund financings, charter schools, cash flow financings, and corporate debt. Previously, he worked with Blaylock Robert Van, Entertainment Finance Associates, Prudential Securities and Daniels and Bell. Mr. Walker has served as lead banker and structured over $10 billion in debt and equity transactions in the capital markets for his clients. Clients have included City of New York, Chicago Transit Authority, City of Selma, Alabama, Portland Trailblazers, Amana Academy, Lambert Airport, American Water Inc., City of Chicago, State of Connecticut, Wind Stream Technologies, Western International Syndication, Faithful Central Bible Church, and Los Angeles County. Mr. Walker holds a Series 7 license and has a BA in Economics from the University of Illinois.
DAN WEEKS is Head of Fixed Income Training at IFS Securities, Inc. Mr. Weeks has 30 years of experience in the securities industry and has been associated with large firms as well as small regional firms. Mr. Weeks was responsible for heading up the whole Fixed Income trading department with Midsouth Capital, Inc. Mr. Weeks spent 6 years with Interstate Securities and 5 years with Prescott, Ball & Turben prior to joining IFS in September 2010 as Head Fixed Trader. Mr. Weeks trades and sells municipal, corporate and agency bonds to institutions, insurance companies, mutual funds and pension funds. Mr. Weeks joined IFS with the belief that we can be a major regional force in the fixed income arena. Currently, Mr. Weeks is the Head Fixed Income Trader at IFS responsible for trading municipal, corporate and agency bonds. Mr. Weeks attended college at the University of Chattanooga in Tennessee. He holds the Series 7, Series 63.
ANGELA AVERY is Marketing Directory at IFS Securities, Inc. Ms. Avery is a transformational leader who succeeds in planning, leading, and executing projects that impact, empower and engage. Ms. Avery serves as the IFS client relationship manager/marketing executive whose principal duties are to ensure that the IFS clients are being provided the top standard of excellence. Ms. Avery assists in coordinating the deployment of the firms resources to both existing clients and new prospects. Ms. Avery also coordinates the firm’s marketing efforts on various platforms ensuring that the IFS brand is properly positioned within the financial, government, and corporate, sectors . She also coordinates communications between the investment banking team, institutional sales team, and retail sales force, ensuring that our clients get the full execution capabilities of the firm in a properly coordinated manner. Prior to joining IFS Ms. Avery served in various marketing capacities with Georgia Perimeter College, Smart Moves Tutoring, Clayton University and Gordon College. Ms. Avery holds a MPA from University of West Georgia, Carrolton, Georgia, and a BA in Communications from the University of Illinois Urbana -Champaign.

GENE WRIGHT is a seasoned business executive and advisor to many small and mid-market businesses in the US and abroad. As a founder and owner of multiple businesses, Gene has successfully raised capital and helped many clients prepare their business to attract investment capital to help realize their growth potential. Gene recently founded the Georgia Crowdfunding Association (GCA), a non-profit organization focused on crowdfunding advocacy and providing education and awareness to Georgia’s crowdfunding ecosystem and serves as GCA’s executive director.
He is a Trustee and certified advisor with The Organization for Entrepreneurial Development (OED) a non-profit organization dedicated to providing local business assistance to Atlanta area businesses. .
Gene began his professional career with pioneer warehouse club operator Makro in 1977 based in Utrecht (Netherlands), opening the first Makro warehouses in the US. Upon the sale of Makro to Kmart, he joined KMart’s specialty retail group in 1990. Following Kmart, Gene joined the global consulting firm Andersen Consulting (Accenture) as Associate Partner responsible for facilitating discussion with Andersen’s global client’s senior management teams. He facilitated workshops focused on growing and sustaining competitive advantage for companies such as Best Buy, Sears, McDonalds, Harley Davidson, Target, Home Depot, Carrefour, JC Penney, CB Richard Ellis, Costco, Mercedes, Ito Yakado, Kitamura, among others.
A graduate of the University of West Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration, he lives in the Buckhead area.
STEVE BRETT is a pioneer in digital marketing and website development and a 25-year veteran in the ad agency business. Formerly the CMO of Harmonix, LLC (maker of Sleep Formula 39), he has most recently worked with a national start-up (23,000 stores) and several emerging and growing Georgia businesses. In the past, he built a 4As ad agency in NYC that worked with Fortune 500s as well as local retailers. Steve has worked with some of the best-known and least-known companies in the world, from the New York Stock Exchange to regional banks; from big Pharmaceutical to biotech start-ups; from luxury brands to collectibles.
JERVIS HOUGH is the CEO of FundAmerica, a FINRA member broker-dealer located in Atlanta, GA. As a veteran regulatory consultant and member of the brokerage industry, Hough has provided guidance to firms engaged in all areas of capital markets, including brokerage, investment advisory, off-exchange foreign currency, and pooled investment vehicles (e.g. hedge funds, venture capital funds, and private equity). In 2009, he formed Taurus Compliance Consulting LLC, which has served as a consultant to many brokerage firms, including LPL and Horace Mann. His experience includes serving as the CEO and CCO of several FINRA member Firms, as well as Branch Manager with Blaylock Robert Van LLC. He is a graduate of Clemson University, where he earned a BS in Economics, with a concentration in Option Law, and a M.S. in Applied Economics with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate.
